Challenge
Operating an outdoor pool in Nordic climate requires equipment capable of maintaining 30°C water temperature when ambient temperatures drop below -10°C. The spa demanded reliable year-round operation.
Solution
We installed high-capacity inverter heat pumps with extended temperature range operation, backed by auxiliary heating for extreme conditions. The system includes automated pool cover integration to minimize heat loss.
Result
The pool maintains 30°C temperature even in deepest winter, enabling the spa's signature cold-plunge-to-hot-pool experience. Annual heating costs are 45% lower than comparable gas-heated facilities.
